Citrus Twist Kits: Week 3 and Creativation

Hi Everyone! I had very good intentions to finish 2017 before working on 2018. But the cacti from this kit told me that I needed to work on this week.

Screenshots are a little taller than regular photos so I use PicStitch with the template with 3 vertical spaces. I moved the margins to accommodate the photos in a way the shape stays true to the screenshot. I only used 2 spaces and left the other one blank.

I am obsessed with 3x3 pockets! Spoiler Alert: You are going to see a few more of these in 2018.

I had to use this cacti paper on this spread because I attended Creativation in Phoenix during week 3. There were so many cacti in the floor! And unicorns, cats and LLAMAS!

I like to make little clusters with 3 to 5 items, I count the staples as items too.

Since there are more spaces in this page protector I can have a little extra space for fun things like this confetti pocket. Inside I have a bunch of different sequins and acrylic pieces from Elle's Studio and Color Cast Designs.

It was impossible to not use this cute cactus on this spread.
I hope you enjoyed this spread!

December Daily: Day Eight

Hey Everyone! This is Jennie sharing Day 8 of my December Daily. This day we did Gingerbread Houses which is one of our favorite holiday things activities. That's why we have so many photos. I also like to add the box of the house. Packaging is very important when I document because I always think about what things might change in 20 years.

The journal cards from December Oh Deer Me Kit are so perfect! They are double sided and there are 2 of each so you don't have to pick a side.

My daughters' drawings are also important because they grow so fast and those things change a lot. I included this one in my December Daily instead of my Project Life because it's a drawing of our Elf.

I went crazy with the December Epoxy Heart Stickers. The phrases are from the December Die Cut Pack.

This page is the back of the Gingerbread House Box. To cover the box I used the December 2017 Papers.

I used a die from Lawn Fawn to cut my photo and the paper around the paper.

I sprinkled these Tiny Red Rhinestones Stickers all around the layout. The December Die Cut Pack comes with a few journaling spots. The unicorn and the gingerbread house are from Cat Martin.

The December Vellum Stickers come with a few strips you can use as washi. I like to layer these with phrases.

I love Freckled Fawn alphas and these beautiful Red Alphas are not exception!

I hope you enjoyed the December Kit! The January is pretty amazing too!

December Daily Cover with Freckled Fawn

Hey Everyone! This is Jennie and today I am sharing the cover of my December Daily. I was inspired by DT Member Niki's Layout. I immediately fell in love with the house die cut and she way she used the pattern paper. I was super excited for the December Oh Deer Me Kit. It's perfect for December Daily!

I used a Simple Stories Holiday Snap Album. I used white ink and stamps to decorate the background. I didn't want something to busy and the stamps worked out perfectly!  The lace is from an old Freckled Fawn Kit.

The enamel dot is from the November Embellishment Kit and the red alphas are from the December Kit
I can't wait to show you more of my December Daily! It's so colorful and fun!

Citrus Twist Kits: Pocket Life Challenge

Hi Everyone! This is Jennie and Kristel just served a challenge!
This one was a hard one for me, only ONE accent color! What? Me? The one that puts everything and the kitchen sink on her pages? Yep! The second one was easy, white borders around the photos. Most of the time I print my 4x6 photos with borders. The last one was way too fun, stitching!

This week I had lots of photos of random moments and things which reflects how chaotic and random is my life.

I love to use black and white photos specially when the quality is not very good. But sometimes they just look better.

This title card is very different from anything I've ever done but I was inspired by the layout of the card. I am crazy about these Puffy Alphas! I used stitching for the numbers. It's pretty addicting.

I used some foiled alphas from the October Pocket Life Kit. I always use some of the papers to cut tiny hearts so I can use around my layout.

I added a few stitches to give the illusion that they were holding some elements. Lately I've been cutting lots of photos in circles using dies.

Thanks for challenge Kristel! I hope you join! Share it with us at the Citrus Twist Facebook Fan Group

Freckled Fawn: Traveler's Notebook

Hey Everyone! This is Jennie and today I'm sharing a Traveler's Notebook spread using the November Oh Deer Me Kit + Papers

I used circle dies to cut the papers and the photos. These two papers are my favorite from the kit. This it is one of my absolute favorite kits EVER! It has gorgeous colors, cool patterns, puffy stickers, enamel dots and labels!

I love using enamel dots! They are perfect little sprinkles for simple scrappers and heavy embellishers like me. The colors on these are super cute!

To balance the photo I added a circle on the left. At the center I use a rubber house and a Chipboard Banner Phrase Stickers. The one on the right is from the Summertime Chipboard Phrases.
I used the cardstock from the November Paper Kit and my Altenew Dies to cut these letters.

I hope you enjoyed this Traveler's Notebook Spread!
